Part of this is a bleed-over from tech: LLMs (appropriately managed) are genuinely useful in writing *code* in many cases. But there are not that many ways to express a given algorithm in a given language, it’s a different domain. I use LLM tech a lot for coding, but always write my own prose.

As a party member, I am really having problems getting my head around why Labour leadership isn't coming out on this more strongly. It just seems so clearly in Labour's best interest not to be continually ceding ideological territory to white supremacism? Where do they *think* they are headed?

My reasonably-pc daughter is 18 and read & enjoyed it at the age of 14 so I’d say it’s still probably ok? Think well-written modern gothic horror gets a pass.
