horribly wrong. They had gone out on one of their first patrols, the vehicle, a Vector Pinzgauer, had gone onto a ridge and hit a legacy mine from the Soviet occupation. We'd done patrols on that area and nothing. Their first day and they hit that and he died.

Some people I served with died on ops, I'm not sure what to make of this, I'd prefer it to be just about people remembering in their own way. I watched the Festival of Remembrance last night.

I believe they were upset as they couldn't lay a wreath at the National Service of Remembrance at The Cenotaph in London. Not enough MPs to qualify. I believe you need at least six.
