This makes a couple of times recently where Rosenthal has gotten sniped because of The Athletic's apparent desire to present breaking news as an article, rather than to have it just tweeted out. Interesting, to me anyway.

This is my active team for the week. The bolds are the high scores I'm currently using. I could bench Miller today if I needed to take a chance on someone perhaps getting more points than his banked 45. But I'm winning my matchup and don't need to take chances.

Ludicrous. You could add in the Jays-Mariners game here, too, and none of Ohtani's placements would change... he'd still have the top three EVs and distances, the top 11 pitch velocities and the most whiffs.

Salvador Perez doesn't have the lowest run scored total ever for a 30-HR guy, but he played a whole lot more than the guys who beat him out. As best as I can tell, he's just the second player ever with 10 more extra-base hits (65) than runs scored (54), joining Nick Castellanos (54 to 42 in 2015).
