🧵 NYC: Zohran Mamdani is an extraordinary political talent and he CAN win this.

What a signal that would send to the country and to the world.

If you have been on the fence, this is the moment to go all in.

👋🏻 My first YouTube tutorial is now up on my channel!

It’s all about using Joranalogue’s Contour 1 eurorack module as a classic Sample & Hold.

If you’ve ever been curious about how to make that Hold function behave like a classic S&H, this one’s for you.

Full video is up on my YouTube channel now.

When you step on the L train anytime after 8pm, it always smells like a fart. Why?

While on the road, I was staying at someone’s place & fainted in their restroom falling through a glass shower door. It was a traumatic experience. I got seen by the Dr today & everything seems fine, more tests to come. Just a case of the old Vasovagal syncope. On the + side, I had this for lunch:

Generative Etudes Vol. 3.0 is out now on 3OP including a 💿 edition!

This marks the final vol. in my Generative Etudes series, exploring generative composition using the mdlr synth. Each track is a fully autonomous patch, evolving from start to finish without human intervention.

I will miss my beautiful snark-tastic genius of a friend. Life is real, it doesnt go on forever. Love each other.
absolutely gutted to learn of the passing of Susan Alcorn, an incredibly gifted improviser, arranger, and musician who bridged so many musical worlds. We just hung out last week at her show in Baltimore with David Grubbs. I am in shock at this loss but grateful to her for her work and her example.

I have an idea for a new trio–does anyone know someone who plays twigs and leaves, maybe the occasional pile of rocks? 🍂🪨

I find it unfortunate that so many folks are fearful of really high frequencies, even when not super loud. As soon as people hear them they’ll duck down, grimace, sound engineers will start attenuating via an EQ, etc. I really love working up there, and find it ripe for exploration.

I read all my admin emails aloud to Sunny prior to sending. He’s a great listener, but zero feedback. Still helpful tho!

First post! Ecstatic to hit the road this February with shows across the South and Midwest, including many cities I’ve never played before!

Huge gratitude to all the incredible folks making these performances possible.
