On Sunday, I'll celebrate my birthday by hosting the 12th #socialAnxiety meetup on #100Devs Discord. The last few months have been tough, and without this community, I might have given up. I often leave isolation knowing these meetups help people, including me.

Today, I helped Santa calculate how many reindeers he needs. 😊
I also really love using spacedesk to turn my tablet into a free alternative to buying a second screen. Should I make a video about it?

I did some tests. A .exe sending key events.
#Csharp is faster but makes more sense for a #JavaScript kiddie like me to learn #Python
Gladly @mayanwolfe.bsky.social got me covered :)
Oh and #AutoHotKey is by far the fastest but I certainly won't learn a specialized language in depth without pay.

As I prepare for the Social Anxiety Meetup I'll be hosting today, I've been reflecting on my year. Despite the struggles, there have been a surprising number of wins.

This horse's name is Avalon. During the pandemic I took care of him and his friend.
He passed away yesterday.
My fight against crippling social anxiety started with him teaching me that anxiety and fear are not inherently bad things.
I'm sad and thankful.
Off to greener pastures you go my friend! <3
