You may claim it harms no one, but constantly framing yourself as a victim of society while demanding validation from everyone else is tiresome. Not everyone who questions you is attacking you. At some point, this stops being about awareness or understanding and starts being nothing more than noise.

In those cases, it feels less like a medical reality and more like attention seeking behavior driven by fantasy. This may not cause direct harm to society, but constantly claiming to be persecuted by everyone is exhausting to witness.

There are people who genuinely live with this condition and suffer because of it, and to them, I truly want to offer my support throughout the treatment process. However, there is another group that seems more interested in putting on a display.

This feels quite different from the period when films about this condition were released, where audiences were curious and eager to understand. Perhaps that is because the tone of those portrayals focused on education rather than on presenting oneself as unique or proudly different.

Is it possible that some of this perception is influenced by things like original role play content, which I mention only as an example, or by certain types of fiction that are frequently referenced?

What I want to say is that I am also someone who is genuinely trying to understand this condition. I am not closed off to it. However, every time I read articles or see people talk about it, I often find myself viewing it from a different angle.

That said, if it is indeed a medical condition, should it not be approached as an illness that deserves understanding and treatment rather than being presented as something intriguing, trendy, or admirable?

In reality, most people do not judge those who experience this condition, and it is rare to see content that openly condemns them.
