I do data visualization and user-centered design of health information, civic tech, I ride bicycles, I think about chronic diseases, I make dumb jokes, and I try to stay off the internet.

Americans prefer websites with lots of pop-up ads, because they're everywhere and if Americans didn't want them they would simply choose to visit other websites!

Oh and at one point, one cop pepper-sprayed another cop. (Around the 12-second mark.)

I felt this way at 3 months, 6 months, 9, 12, and at many other points. At 18 months I started aerobic PT. hard. Now at 42 months in I can bike 30 miles, go to the gym and lift weights, and most days aren't restricted. Will never be a bike racer again but happy to be here. Hang in there.

oh very good find!

i also noticed that fatigue and fog were pretty closely linked to fueling and metabolism, too - if i got behind on eating, i couldn't recover by snacking - it wasn't till a full meal that things would re-stabilize.

I found that it helped a little bit to keep pretty regular notes about what I was doing, when, and how I felt.

I found it hard to see patterns while they were happening, but if I recorded things then I could see some cause and effect.
