I'm no lawyer, but it seems like discussing war plans in Signal outside a SCIF is maybe just a little bit worse than using a private server to send emails that weren't even marked as classified. But what do I know.

There is nothing more obviously inevitable to me than everyone eventually concluding that, no, you can't work with the Trump admin., you can't "find areas of compromise," you can't treat this as normal politics, the only option is total, unremitting opposition. Everyone will get there eventually.

Seems to me that American politics is like playground politics. Never mind the rights and wrongs or the logic in a situation, it only matters who's side you are on. Never mind health and the economy, are you on our side or not.
