The Right Rev. Mariann Budde, the Episcopal Bishop of Washington, DC, asks President Trump to have mercy on those "who are scared now," including LGBTQ people and migrants and refugees, at Washington National Cathedral today.
Rev. Mariann Edgar Budde to Trump: "I ask you to have mercy upon the people in our country who are scared now. There are gay, lesbian, and transgender people in Democratic, Republican, and independent families, some who fear for their lives ... and the vast majority of immigrants are not criminals"

Donald Trump taken to task over his bigotry towards LGBT people and immigrants in Washington National Cathedral by Right Rev. Mariann Edgar Budde. Trump didn’t like it at all, telling the media afterwards he “didn't think it was a good service”.
