It's the COVID-19 Day of Reflection 2025. It was a weird time to be a journalist, I remember writing this in March 2020 when coronavirus first hit Stoke-on-Trent, not fully understanding really the gravitas of it. No one truly did. Just under a month after this story, it seems the world changed.

Starting work for 2025 and marking two years now of changing Grogu's date every shift. It was especially helpful working overnight to give me a sense of what day it was!

Storm Darragh might have been a bit blustery yesterday but it didn't put the Sandbach Striders off our Christmas run. Leisurely social-paced run to a host's house for a starter then again for a main, and a dessert. Five miles, plenty of rain, plenty of fun, plenty of mulled wine. #cheshire #running
