I want to spotlight the incredible work of Charisse-Callender Scott and Coach Bo of the Communibuild Foundation who helped secure the warehouse space for Toys for Tots this year.

For decades, Ms. Scott has made sure every kid in our county has the dignity & joy of a gift to open during the holidays. 60 years ago, in a time of need, she waited in the Toys for Tots line before dawn to receive Christmas gifts for her kids. She has been paying it forward ever since.

Fighting for our schools is the work I do every day as a labor lawyer and it’ll be the fight I take on as Delegate: free school meals, a minimum wage for all school staff, and reducing paperwork so teachers can teach.

States have to use every tool available to stop ICE’s campaign of terror.

To start: our state has the constitutional power to ban ICE agents from wearing masks here. As Delegate, I’ll sponsor that legislation.

We will not accept secret police in Maryland.
