Static Field is OP. When I played with friends, Frozen Orb choked my buddy's ancient PC. There were no respecs back then, so I stuck with Static Field until he got a new PC. I probably dealt the most damage, but couldn't kill anything, meaning no XP bonuses 😂

I wouldn’t worry about DV2 unless you’re really excited about the announced features. DV1 is widespread, so creators will target it for years. DV2 will take years to build an install base.
OTOH C1 isn’t that old. I just upgraded from an E6 (2016) to a G5 (2025).

This isn't MS trying to build a user base. This is Best Buy clearing inventory space. Bet the price drops will deepen after Christmas as retailer realize these things are $650 rocks on the shelf.
