It’s stunning to me that Ukraine has not even been brought to the table for peace talks.

Before I understood much about investing, 1% is exactly what we were paying to Dan Luke (a Ramsey ELP). We didn’t know any better at the time. To make it worse, the ELP stuck our money in a mutual fund through American Funds with an expense ratio of over 3%! No wonder our returns were so lousy.

My number is $750,000. With that much invested, it should spin off more than enough interest (on average) to pay my bills forever.
