got the true ending in kirby air riders, and as a lifelong kirby dork i was geeking the fuck out. they delivered an over the top bombastic ending worthy of kirby in a racing spinoff game, while also being a love letter to the sakurai-directed early games in the series. absolutely wild how good it is

kirby air riders is a fucken joy to experience; minimalist punchy, crunchy arcade game design matched perfectly with maximalist color and bouncy silliness. never played anything quite like it, and I never thought pre-release i'd be this glowing about it

I love the random use of generic American iconography in Europe lol. The grocery store my wife and I go to in Germany had a bunch of imported soda on display and just slapped an American flag behind it. When all the soda was gone they put normal stuff there but still kept the American flag behind it
