Too bad we can't have flexibility. I think a 4 team playoff this year wouldn't have had any justifiable complaints. Last year's tourney 12 worked. Year before needed 6.

I don't know what they could have done to stop it (I think it executed by Gooddell putting him the commissioner's exempt list), but I do not recall the NFLPA making a big enough deal about it. It was absurd
