Ok the minimal triangle's sides are one unit long, the shortest length possible, so sqrt(3)/4. I want to say the max triangle shares a vertex with the square and is symmetrical over the diagonal so (1/cos(15⁰))²(sqrt(3)/4) if I've got my SOH CAH TOA right?
