I won't stop supporting good people and good causes though. It will be my continued defiance against a darkening world filled with people who would sacrifice everything and anyone around them for an extra dollar.

I know this is just screaming into the void but I really don't know what else to do at this point. Change has to come to salvage things. Just don't know that it will. And that's profoundly depressing.

I'm tired of waking up every morning knowing our country is worse off than it was the day before for 99.9% of us all while being lied to that it's actually better. It's an insult to intelligence. Tired of being angry. Tired of seeing the damage done for no reason other than greed.

It's been so depressing watching the US pull back from renewable energy while the rest of the world forges ahead towards a new era. We're ceding our position as a global science leader in so many areas just because a few powerful people think any science from later than the 1950s is bad.

In a just world, the leaders of the global oil industry and the powers that enable them would pay for the damages done to our planet. It's all so sickening.
