Well, I had a "lie down" on a warm up of a stage. But got through the rest of the race. No idea of times, but I got third in class (yes, only 3 entries). Actually had fun. Typical loose Sydney dry dirt despite all the rain of last few weeks.

Medical update: last infusion of six cycles of chemo. It's done. Oncologist is predicting more sometime, but cancer gone AFAIAC. PET scan in November.

Feel tired but that's likely poor sleep. Have to ignore it cause I'm racing the MTB on Sunday....

Cycling. Motos will kill me.

We are not the same. 😁

I tend to TRY and rebuild things first. Bikes normally do 10+ years of riding with me, until bits can't be sourced or geometry is that much better.

Discipline implies you have to fight something, you have to push yourself to do something that you really don’t want to do. But passion says, ‘You're going to do this because you want to do it.’ There will be challenges along the way, but there's never the thought of giving up

Steve Vai: I’m not a very disciplined person; it was a passion. Because passion is a much more powerful engine of creation than discipline.

Why assume equilibrium? I have no evidence for or against that.

The thing I wonder about in these studies is that it implies that every microlitre of blood contains the same molecules at the same concentration as every other microlitre. That logic doesn't make sense to me.

I guess what I'm saying is that people are often driven by pursuit of wealth as a means of status. Cause how much money does one actually need.

Because the general public's definition of genius is someone who can do what they can't. Parting people with their money falls into this category, so billionaires are seen as geniuses.
