I get that it is ‘flaggy’. It’s the hypocrisy of putting flags on lampposts one week, then complaining that trains will be painted like flags the next. But who am I kidding - there’s no logic to any of this. It’s the far right working themselves up into a rage-filled flag wankfest as usual.

It’s bizarre. 99% of them are either a) Russian bots or b) have been radicalised by Russian bots on Twitter. Crazy times.

The floor/screen/gateline designs are actually quite attractive - very nice and bright, and hard to miss.

I've no doubt that the livery will be refined in time, and feedback will be taken on board about its application/use cases, differentiation for areas/locals/intercity. All in good time!

Loosely - local stopping services are thinner lines, intercity and longer distance services represented by thicker lines.

One of the pieces of feedback I had when we dropped Northern's new network map was that it didn't show the 'full' railway system. In a soon-to-be 'Great British Railways' world, we're moving towards a much more integrated railway.

There is simply no place for cars anywhere within the inner ring road. They need to be completely banned.

I feel personally offended whenever I have to fire up my work Windows laptop (very rarely). Thankfully I can just load O365 on my Mac in Chrome, without all of the useless Copilot features. Teams is a total parasite of an application.

Absolutely on the money. I'm also sceptical about the freeze - cheap political points for something that will have fairly limited benefits (given 55% of fares are 'unregulated' and operators can basically do what they like with these anyway). Not to mention - funding?
