Yep! I knew bc of work I did at daughters school back in the day, he'd visit. First time I met him was at a block party, one of our neighbors brought him by. He's good people! And now Shahana is my councilperson! NYCers hate parachuting politicians so agreed, its his to lose if he wants it.

So I have a question or two, does this include people who are detained and then released? And is there a breakout of the severity of criminal charges, ex bench warrant for unpaid speeding ticket vs, say assault etc? And last, would love a per capita cost analysis! But not asking you to do it lol!

Uhh did u see the chart. Cuz 1 it seems intentionally designed to obscure data and well if i did understand it you're talking about maybe 1 in 4. And IDK but the chart didnt clarify if those numbers included ADHD meds. Absolute bastards trying to incite a panic.

Perhaps some of that will return as the midterms approach. Given the cratering approval, the chance to vote for some kind of potential change might see a lot more optimism. Think we are more in the trough, so to speak.

They weren't wrong! But it is kinda funny to me bc I sometimes get the feeling a lot of people who love to discuss (ok argue fine) policy and politics fail to realize how far out of the norm voter range they are. Also, a bit of sunk cost maybe from the establishment, esp consulting industry...

Yes, agreed, think the other part is "believe they will do what they say/ will make a difference to me". If you don't get that then you're not getting that vote. IMO and there we are back to vibes again lol...

Haha love your work and appreciate you sharing it with us!

I'd bet if you carefully examine most of the left/right ideologists you'd find they are that way bc they believe those positions will yield the outcome they seek on the "affordability" axis. And lol the smallest group by far was the centrists.

Ahhh I hope it resolves quickly! And I hear that, started running everyday during COVID and it has made a real difference. For me at least, its about getting my whole body into rhythm, just frees my mind to think.

Wishing you well on your recovery! I had a similar period in my mid 20s for a shoulder injury but I would struggle much more being at home now and unable to get outside for that long.
