Man, Balatro is such an incredibly fun game. The whole thing is just an exercise in how you adapt based on what is given and your own choices.

Using the lack of any good releases in January to catch up to a bunch of movies from 2024. So far it's been a great run of back to back incredible films. There's still a ton to watch though!

Just saw 'The Colors Within' in theaters.

It's another example of why Naoko Yamada is one of my favorite directors. There's a tenderness to her expertly and vividly crafted visuals, the emotion in each movement, the care in each shot. Beautiful film.

That planet song is such a bop too!

Watching trailers and it just ruins it every time I hear what's obviously a line of dialogue edited from different sentences, like it's jarring as heck... why do they keep doing this?

Saw Gladiator 2 on IMAX yesterday. I was liking the story throughout the first half, but when certain subplots kick in, that's when it gets more interesting and I really loved it.

The set pieces are also stunning. Incredible production design here, as expected from a Ridley Scott historical epic.

Only time will tell if I'll be more active here, but the 300 letter limit is already a plus compared to twitter's 280.
