They aren't poor, that's the point. The evidence now is really quite strong. As for your analogy, tbh it's said in such bad faith that I'm not sure it really deserves much of an answer.

You can see no good faith reasons for doing so? Because I and many many others can. It is possible you know for people acting in good faith to come to drastically different conclusions.
