The purpose of mandatory government contracting/mandatory public-private partnerships is to make sure The New Deal never happens again.

One of the things many #progressives who want a robust #welfare state and other Progressive Nice Things are going to have to get used to is the trade-offs that will be needed to get swing voters on board.

The #Medicaid fraud in #Minnesota would have been avoided if the government were allowed to run #Medicaid rather than being required by law to outsource everything to random NGOs.
Government should always do things in-house. The Abundance Agenda would allow the government to do that.

I really hope @jamestalarico.bsky.social wins the primary. I respect Jasmine Crockett but the fact is that the general public gives Democrats less allowance for so-called "cringe" behavior.
