the idea of T25 colleges is fucked tbh. I know it's preaching to the choir and kind of pointless to say but we keep asking schools and teachers to solve problems that are hugely systemic. Adding or removing accommodations will not fix our classist/racist/everythingist education system or economy.

This is made worse by admins who try to underdiagnose because then only the students with invested / well resources parents actually get the limited resources and we're back where we started.

and because tests are bullshit and often extremely high stakes there's really no way to fight inequity without giving accommodations that reduce the gradients between minorities and the majority. But, as you point out, the people most likely to get accommodations are also already better off.

honestly it's just all dodging the fundamental problem here: tests don't matter at all. If testing theoretically measured competence at a task (like the civil service exams other countries have) then you'd need people who pass muster irrespective of disability etc. But they don't do that at all.
