I only ever used Facebook to keep in touch with some local gaming and pagan groups that posted events there. I quit using it because it kept serving me Threads advertisements with videos of women breastfeeding.

My wife and I literally just started watching it because the song "Radar Love" always makes me think of it. I only ever watched like half of the first season to begin with, but it's always occupied a small corner of my mind.

Genuinely, a lot of men just need to hear: try to build some interests that a lot of women might share, and then engage with those women as equals and eventually you'll probably find someone who vibes with you.

This allowed non-romatic conversations with a lot of women that allowed me to share and listen to a lot of intelligent opinions and perspectives. Eventually, my wife and I got together after a class trip in a graphic novels class where we rode in a car together and got to talk about music and stuff.

I met my wife because I was an English major at an engineering school. Men were a minority in the program, and I was in an environment where I was regularly speaking with women about a shared interest: literature.

Couldn't hurt, but I think part of the problem is that men are highly discouraged from interacting with women on their terms: sharing interests with women, engaging in non-romantic related conversation, etc.
