Yeh I get that - Brandolini's law in action with those foks or bots or both. As I said in my other post, I don't know what the answer is but to me, banning just feels like trying to build a wall and ultimately the wall always comes down.

I understand and I have zero desire to have these folks in this space, but I fear we then create our own echo chamber? Not sure if theres any simple answer.
All I know is that building walls has never been a permanent solution to social issues.
OTOH, perhaps it buys time to address the issue.

The urge to block is powerful, but another take might be to bring intellectual discourse to their posts, modelling how humans can resolve problematic situations through critical thought and analysis. We need more of this.

I agree and I think this is where our quest for efficiency (culminating in things like ChatGPT) actually affect us as humans. The joy of discovery is essentially annhialated by the machine knowing everything and anything. I feel there may be some real loss of wonder in the world for humans.
