That's fair. There's a lot of people out there (myself included) who view "Leftism" as traditionally opposed to extreme accumulation of power and wealth by single individuals.

When Elon is saying he wants to cut 75% of all government agencies, Bernie is trying to shield social safety net programs (that Republicans always wanted to cut) by pointing out the the most obvious real target (Pentagon).
