This is not a simple 'single incident' like forgetting an item in an order or getting mad at a customer. This was DELIBERATELY ATTACKING a customer based on their appearance. You CANNOT do that job if you cannot treat ALL CUSTOMERS with a certain low level of respect. It was a merit-based firing!
