Arrived in Naples for the ANA B2B marketing conference just in time for #sunset. The hostess showed me to the beach proud the restaurant is right on the Gulf of... she paused to see my reaction... Mexico. Whew. We both just laughed and were grateful for each other's sanity.

Not to make you all feel terrible, but 'inbox zero' makes me feel really good inside and out. I rarely get to it, except through occasional 'email bankruptcy', but when I go on vacation like I am right now, I do a full clean out before getting on the plane. I recommend it. #inboxzero

NYT is copy-weird now + then. Technically "absented himself" is a real phrase, but does that mean we should use it. How about "has been absent from..." or "skipped"?
