When you’re making food, no one comes begging anymore. Even the little things that sometimes annoyed me I’m missing now. Luckily she is home already as we picked up her ashes shortly after. I miss you Noa.

There’s no one happily running toward you when you come home through the yard or anything like that. When you pick up something that makes a crinkling sound like plastic, you don’t suddenly hear her walking towards you to come and see what you’re doing.

It’s weird and I can’t really describe it that good but still. You come home and Noa isn’t sitting on the couch looking outside because she hears the car anymore. When you go downstairs, you no longer hear the couch creak because she gets up.

I’ve had her for almost half my life and she was there for some of my darkest days. Its so quiet in the house now. The silence is loud. We even moved two times since 2019 but we stayed in the same town so we went pretty much everywhere on walks and when I go for a walk now I see her everywhere.

It really didn’t look like she collapsed so I really hope she didn’t suffer. I’m sad that I wasn’t there for her last moments and that she was alone. My heart is absolutely broken. And people might think it’s just a dog but she was a family member. My soulmate is gone.

She got medication to bridge the gap to that Wednesday. When I came home on the 9th, I sadly found here passed away in the backyard on the grass. We suspect a heart attack. The way she was laying made it look like she was just lying down and passed away in her sleep.

weird like tumors etc. These issues resulted in such a tremendous amount of stress and anxiety that I couldn’t find the will power to be active and talk to many people. We had planned a vet visit to check some things out on the 10th this month and on the 8th we had another emergency visit.
