That Nobel means nothing to her if Venezuela remains under the Maduro dictatorship? People criticize her for appealing to Trump but wouldn’t Zelenskyy do the same had he won it? Let Trump have it. It changes nothing. Can he turn on her? Yes, but it’s worth the shot

The current state of both countries isn’t comparable. Even though free speech in the US is under threat and civil liberties too, you can’t “forgive” Maduro to prove your point

The news coming from Vzla is polarizing in the US because most people don’t know anything about the country and can only use it to take (valid) shots at this administration. 8.000.000 people left the country. Cumulative inflation rate since 2000 is 4.700%. Yes, four thousand seven hundred percent.

This is a ridiculous statement. They had a chance , they had been warned for months and did not even shoot a bullet. I am not defending the extraction of Maduro, by the way, even though he is a criminal dictator who stole the elections last year who is complicit in allowing drug cartels operate

Not surprising. The US and Venezuela’s opposition have two clearly different points of view as to the need for a regime change in Vzla. But the french government has been deeply involved the past 25 years diplomatically. First appeasing the regime and later calling out the lack of democracy
