39 % tariff for Switzerland is for sure going to convince them to move their watch making business to Detroit.

I guess I have to switch to another browser or use some plugin. I don't want to see that stupid AI generated nonsense at the top of my search results.

Version 1.2 of py-predicate will probably allow property based testing, but also run-time instrumentation of a function against a specification: github.com/mrijk/py-pre...

Working on #Clojure spec like functionality for py-predicate: github.com/mrijk/py-pre... . This will allow users to test functions based on predicates for their parameters.

So your #python function has a type signature with a float. Now let's test that and call it with math.inf and see what happens.

py-predicate can now dynamically generate lambda functions with a variable nr of parameters. Bit of magic involved with types.FunctionType but no 'eval' needed. github.com/mrijk/py-pre...

Watched Terminator 1 yesterday. Noticed that a robot coming back from 2029 is still running an 8 bit 6502 microprocessor instruction set. So probably we have nothing to fear from AI in the near future.

I think by now we need to start realising that Trump is going to actively help Putin with information to fight Ukrain.

I can't be the first one that notices that Fargo theme creator Jeff Russo must have been inspired by Follia (Corelli, 1653-1713).

I envision a website that shows European products (clothing, tools, food, etc) with an indication of origin (percentage European), environmental impact, etc. And of course where to buy them.

I was positively surprised that after years of #React programming, I liked programming #Angular. Especially since release 19.
