I’m currently renovating my kitchen myself. Did you know the NEC (National Electrical Code) changed last year (2023) and outlets below the working surface on islands and peninsulas are not allowed? Options are a raised seating surface, a pop-up outlet, or pre-wire for the next person to deal with.
