Chief says the PPB hasn't seen footage of the shooting: "We’ve not seen any video or retrieved any video of the incident," he says, adding that

Man was shot in the arm and the woman was shot in the chest. Both had to have surgery and are in stable condition. "We're grateful for that," chief says.

Chief confirms there was some type of 'nexus' between a July 11 shooting at NE 81st Ave and Mason Street of a Venezuelan immigrant and suspects believed to be members of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua. He said the couple wounded yesterday were not identified as 'suspects' in that shooting.

Chief says the man and woman wounded Thursday by US Customs and Border Patrol are in stable condition.

Portland Assistant Chief Rob Simon says there were 7 to 8 fed officers in the medical office lot when PPB officers first responded to the shooting call there Thursday afternoon.
