On election night in 2016 after his sober victory speech, I hoped (for a moment) that he’d hire smart people and let them run the government while he played golf, gave speeches, and lived off the celebrity high. That takes way too much discipline for a narcissist.

More people in Texas voted for Harris than any state besides California, but that’s beside the point—no child deserves to die a harrowing death because of the political leanings of their parents. Their parents don’t deserve any harm either. That line of thinking is sick and gross.
