Further, if someone has already made a costume and is fully ready to apply that means they had to do so without the knowledge that it ‘should have been’ a young hero, sucks to be them if they picked something else right? Better luck next time! 🫠

The biggest issue I have with the completion idea is the timing and theming requirements. Having a cosplay ready to go 3 months before an event without prior notice is asking a LOT. Especially if you might not be selected. I say this as a cosplayer with 17 FaB costumes at my ‘disposal’.

I will admit I’m sad to have to choose between continuing work on a cosplay that has been a passion project or drop it to quickly whip up a young hero cosplay. I think that people would rather see the intricacy/complexity of the original project, but they aren’t the ones reviewing the application. 🥲

It’s not a new hero, but I still think it’s a pretty cool ‘story’ and I can’t wait to tell it! ⚔️

Exact same, 5 of each unless both my husband and I play that hero in which case it’s 10 of so we don’t have to fight over who gets to play with the toys on armory night.

I’d definitely agree with this. I know it’s anecdotal but I’ve had more ‘shut out’ games both ways in the last week than I’ve had in the last year. Still scratching my head on it, might just be my hero/deck choice though. Some are going to have more polarized matchups I guess.
