I have never suggested that “everyone” can afford the fees … only that there is a middle ground (often lost in today’s social discourse) between rich and “can pay”and poor and “can’t pay”.

There is a certain irony of this hideous assault in the reaction of so many Venezuelans who are delighted their dictator has been toppled. And perhaps many of the hundreds of thousands of refugees will go home.
