Weren't there like a dozen of those stories during COVID lockdowns?

Look. I agree.

I just notice that while LLM globally suck, human software engineer aren't all magicians super experts

I would disagree too. The most recent models are starting to be interesting at explaining problems and nudging people towards the right pieces of knowledge.

But they still hallucinate and flatter the mediocre, so actual acumen with handling them is required

November 3, 2025 at 9:17 AM

Same thing, EMEA can be somewhere else than Paris, London or Amsterdam

And hmmmm where are most of Silicon Valley AI engineers from ?
October 30, 2025 at 7:47 PM
I'm fighting sometimes against people who'd like our billion view/month websites' frontends to be moved out of k8s into Vercel "because I used it in my previous company (a startup), it's simpler to operate"

Coule be a matter of different seed/species too, no ?

Contribution to big open-source repo is something very new to me, but the few experiences I had recently were very wholesome. Makes me want to contribute more !

It's hard to be good at everything, whatever your size is. There will always be a more agile team being better at a niche feature.

(Now... saying database hosting is niche may be ...bold)
