As we're still relatively new here, let's do some introductions. We'll start with the essentials.

📰 Our core work is PR and public affairs.

📍 We're based in Tunbridge Wells and most of our clients are in Kent or the South East.

🫖 We drink a lot of tea and consume almost as many biscuits.

After around 15 years, our work to support the Rochester Bridge Trust has come to an end as the charity decided to take its communications in-house.

Account Director Erica Jones has reflected on some of her highlights - which obviously include Langdon the Lion! 🦁 maxim-pr.co.uk/news/more-th...

Last night we took (most of) the judges for the Kent Press & Broadcast Awards out for dinner.

It's a small thank you for the massive amount of work they do for free, reviewing every single entry #KPBA we receive.

#OnThisDay a decade ago, Gallagher Group formerly opened a 100m long tunnel linking its current quarry and a new extension, securing another 25 years of employment on the site.

We were on hand to manage the media and capture the event for the family business’ history

These are the faces of two women in their forties who just found out that 'old school' is music from the 90s 😭

Despite that revelation, Erica and Rachel had a great time catching up with some familiar faces at @kmfmnews.bsky.social today.
Two women are standing in front of a purple wall with the KM Media Group logo between them. Beneath is the text 'Press, radio, online - together we make a difference', although it is partially obscured by the woman on the left.

Anyone else at @kentcricket.co.uk today? Erica is making the most of the tickets that were in this year's Kent Press & Broadcast Awards goody bags. Huge thanks to them for supporting #KPBA.
A big blue sky with white fluffy clouds sits above the corner of a cricket ground. In the forefront are the backs of spectators heads, mostly wearing hats. Buildings surround the edge of the ground. A selfie of Erica wearing sunglasses. The wind has blown her hair in front of her face. Behind her is a cricket ground and a few rows of spectators.

#OnThisDay in 1996, we helped tell the story of Aylesford Newsprint securing a new world record when its giant Paper Machine (PM14) manufactured 1,448 miles of paper in 24 hours.

Erica's spending the day at Rochester Cathedral, supporting @rbt.org.uk in TV interviews while the restored Short Scion Floatplane is put together ahead of going on public display for the whole of August.

Thanks to ITV News Meridian and KMTV for going along.

🌞Pleased to support Greentech in gaining planning permission for a solar farm that will provide renewable energy for around 7,200 homes.

💚We provided community and stakeholder engagement, as well as media relations support.

Happy fourth birthday @localauthority.news

Erica joined the team to celebrate four years of providing independent news for Medway.

It's pretty brave to launch a news website in this day and age but Local Authority is proving there is a demand and people are prepared to pay for local news.

We thought Kent’s scale, proximity to London, ports and development potential made it a perfect candidate for an early Mayoral Strategic Authority, but instead, we’ll get three or four unitary authorities.

Businesses need to engage now to understand these changes: maxim-pr.co.uk/news/devolut...

#OnThisDay in 1997, we helped to launch Locate in Kent.

Unfortunately we don't have any photos from back then so this is a bit of a cheat - taken in 2002, the team is pictured celebrating the creation of 1,913 jobs that year.

A big thank you to Tunbridge Wells Business Magazine for this feature on our 30th anniversary.

The agency was founded in Tunbridge Wells and we're now in our fourth office in the town so it's lovely to be in a local magazine.

#OnThisDay in 2013, Manston Airport welcomed the world’s largest passenger plane – the Airbus A380.

As part of our work for the airport’s owners, we handled the media on the day and provided iPhone footage of the landing for one of the main broadcasters (which was very unusual!)

Just seen a job ad for an 'AI assisted' reporter (cue old man shaking fist at cloud). I am proud to say the @folkestonedispatch.substack.com - including any typos, appalling grammar, general cock-ups within - is produced entirely AI-free. The buck stops with me, not a bleedin' robot

🗞️ A little selection of print and online coverage for Buckmore Park, following a successful planning application.

🏁 This was one of those projects where we were involved early on in the community and stakeholder engagement, making the media relations part of the job all the more satisfying.
