Thank you! We had a vet emergency with my 14yo-s ESA kitty. He'll be fine he comes home in a few hours and while we need to monitor him this weekend he'll likely not relapse. So I just need to work some of these stress chemicals out of my body. Extra hard with the world on fire, but I'll manage.

He is my 14yo's ESA and my 14yo is in an incredibly horrid place mental health wise. My fear of losing this cat isn't just the fear of losing a beloved pet. I'm well aware my kid will follow. So whatever you do be it prayer or candles, please send it Ash's way if you're so inclined.

The good news is while this is all stressful, charity stepped up and i don't at all have to worry about this 4 digit bill. That will double if he needs surgery. We can focus our energy on prayers for full recovery, not prayers for a financial miracle. We received the financial miracle.

Yesterday was a rough day. Ash had a urinary constriction. The vet got it out and he's responding well to fluids and the catheter pulling things through flushing his bladder. He has a few days in hospital care. And when they pull his catheter we might discover he needs surgery.

There is a crate fully covered by a navy blue quilt. There is a white laundry basket full of children's picture books with a box on its side on top. Between these two things is a grey cat tail the rest of the cat hidden under the quilt because maintenance is here so he's scared.

Time to drag myself to the gym and swim laps. I'm always glad to be doing it, and glad to have done it, and the dragging myself out of bed part never gets easier. Just gotta pep talk myself the reminder i gotta get the zoomies out.
