Im pretty sure David Hyde Pierce won an Emmy that year for that scene. He deserved every award possible, and perhaps a few new ones created just for him. I dont know that Ive ever seen a funnier scene on a Network sitcom

It almost sounds like he's saying that government and religion shouldn't mix? So he's against the 10 commandments in schools and government buildings, government passing abortion laws based on religion, and using state funds to buy Trump Bibles for schools, right?

I wonder if the "Mercedes Benz" thing comes from him being shown pictures of ACTUAL Somalia, where, like in much of the rest of the world, Mercedes aren't luxury vehicles, but just an average car. Taxis, 25 year old models held together with spit and tape, yet he's unable to tell the difference
