So exciting to be at the 2026 Memorial Cup Launch Party. Had a great chat and catch-up with former Rockets Captain Josh Gorges and met WHL Commissioner Dan Near. Dave Rush and Steve Thomson are the co-chairs of the 2026 Memorial Cup.

With a water cannon salute, Kelowna welcomed Porter Airlines. Porter will offer year round flights between Kelowna and Toronto in the new 132 seat Embraer E195-E2 jet. Vice President Andrew Pierce spoke at the opening along with Mayor Dyas and Airport Director Sam Samaddar.
