I fast-forwarded through the American arrogance and just watched France and Serbia.

Ep4 is mostly about France losing to Germany and then beating them in the QF.

Here's the measurements for the Young Star Game. Obviously height and length will never compensate for skills, but if you want to play (and score) in the NBA, against the best athletes in basketball, having the right physical tools helps.

Keep in mind that most of these players are still growing.

The French team for February’s Eurobasket qualifier has swagger.

Because of the availability of @euroleague.bsky.social players we’ll see, among others, Theo Maledon, Evan Fournier, Isaia Cordinier, Matthew Strazel, Jaylen Hoard and Vincent Poirier

Nolan Traoré will be a sparring partner.

The Golden State Walkyries select 2 French players:

Carla Leite & Iliana Rupert 🇫🇷

Question is will they chose to play in the WNBA, what with the French NT

I recall Darren Daye from his days with Pau Orthez in 95-96. Great player, unfortunately he didn’t finish the season, injured I think

Gheorghe Muresan, French legend Antoine Rigeaudeau and new French NT Freddy Fauthoux were also on the team which won the championship

In Stanford's 71-68 win over St Barbara, 7'1 Maxime Raynaud 2003 🇫🇷 had 32pts (12/23, 2/3, 6/12) 16rbs 2ast

6'7 Adama Bal 2003 🇫🇷 had 10pts (2/10, 1/5, 5/7) 5rbs

Last time these 2 were teammates, in the summer of 2023, they took gold as the U20 Euro.

First time was in 2019 for the U16 team.

Nolan Traoré 2006 first game for the senior 🇫🇷 NT:

10pts (4/10, 1/3) 2rbs 3ast in 24 minutes against a weal Cyrpus squad.

Fellow draft prospect Noa Essengue 2006 played 5mins without scoring.

Sunday is another game, also against Cyprus.

Here's hoping that we'll see those 2 for a long time.

These are the Schoene projections. Crazy how much Lebron has exceeded them. Last season he was expected to average 11pts

Daniel Batcho 🇫🇷 2002 almost achieved perfection in the Louisiana Tech Billdogs win last night over Mississippi College:

38pts (13/14, 1/1, 11/12) 8rbs

His careerhas been disrupted by injuries (torn ACL in the 2018 U16 semi final), but he has always been a physical specimen & great rebounder
November 19, 2024 at 9:18 AM
7'1 Maxime Raynaud 🇫🇷 2003 had a career high 33pts (13-26, 5-10 from 3) & 14rbs in the Standford Cardinal's victory against UC Davis.

This is his last season in the NCAA. I think Raynaud has at least Euroleague upside, maybe even more.

Coming off the bench for the first time this season, projected lottery pick Nolan Traoré 🇫🇷 2006 had 9pts (2-5 from 2, 1-2 from 3, 2-4 ft) & 4ast in only 12 mins.
For the season (9 LNB games) he is averaging 10.7pts (40.4 from 2, 26.7 from 3, 75 ft), 1.7 rbs & 5 ast
November 17, 2024 at 8:31 AM
Moussa Diabaté 🇫🇷 2002 is making the most of his two-way contract with the Charlotte Hornets. He had himself another double-double last night (12pts & 14rbs) and over the past 4 games (where his playing time has exploded) is averaging 7pts & 13.8rbs.
November 17, 2024 at 8:02 AM
Theo Maledon 🇫🇷 2001 had himself another great game in the Euroleague vs Belgrade: 26pts (7/9, 3/5, 9/10) 4rbs 4ast.

For the season he is averaging 17pts 4.4rbs 3.9ast in the second best league in the world.
