most of my stuff is graphite pencil on paper - I like watercolour paint too but I'm still bad at it

thanks! the black and white ones are all graphite on paper, usually mechanical pencils between B and HB - and a very dark and soft matte pencil for the heavily shaded bits.

@mattfromtinder.bsky.social sadly it's sometimes out of creators/owners control as the tools and formats they used to make their stuff is proprietary - this is particularly true in music. There's already an archival black hole of anything that was recorded in a digital session in the early 2000's

@mattfromtinder.bsky.social The internet and digital media more generally has a really serious archival problem - because it takes essentially constant upkeep to host and convert files as old formats go obsolete.

@t5un4m1.bsky.social maybe it has limited usefulness as they're actually more likely to do dumb things while they're playing. Just not falling behind their friends in terms of XP and loot has proven to be a better motivator to turn up.
