IDK. Tweetlike short posts have never been the best medium for nuanced and actionable broadcasting. It’s a lot to expect that every thread must satisfy a rhetorical checklist that covers as many readings as possible, plus include hand-holding directions to the Correct™ action or response

I certainly don’t know the poster’s intent. But I can imagine a scenario in which the original post’s point was moreso to express that — for the electorate at large — postal politics are both weighty and at play (and to me and the poster: understandably scary!)
