I don’t disagree. I’m just saying that half the country voted for this to happen and without an existential loss as proof of their own evil (as was the ground for antifascism for former german nazis), they will not go down easily or at all. American fascists do not have a Great War to put them down

The major difference is that this 2.0 version is not facing an existential threat anytime soon. And much like the 1.0 that you talk about, even with all of the post-war ‘denazifacation’, today’s fascism will continue to burn and smolder under the surface in the hearts and minds of white nationalists

I think it’s a good sign of the platforms growth. Half my interest with twitter was soccer and half was academic. Pretty funny to see someone get abused in British pejoratives then the next tweet is someone explaining their understanding of how Marx would’ve predicted Harris losing or something
