My unpopular opinion with this one is that while Modric’s longevity is impressive, I think he probably only had one GREAT season in this period (compared to Kroos who had several). I think Modric gets uplifted somewhat by a few high profile CL and WC performances

Great choices. The best overall season, team (PSG) and individual seasons (Yamal) we’ve seen for some time. The only player I’d add would be Hakimi, rare to see a RB with that level of influence on an elite side.
