i understand the pushback to "joy is an act of resistance" shit but also making yourself too miserable to do anything at all alongside the mindset of "if i DON'T do this im a bad person" is also decidedly not an act of resistance.

conservatives getting rid of DEI for the sake of “meritocracy” but then filling out a cabinet like it’s gym class dodgeball. gee whizz, it’s almost like these assholes who’ve inherited everything their whole lives hate diversity bc it reveals a fatal flaw in their supremacist views
