A 20th anniversary Ace Attorney game was cancelled, making our last mainline entry a 15th anniversary Ace Attorney game as we enter the 25th anniversary year.

Pokémon that have little sprite animations before freezing on a signature pose opens the door to have room to lighten the work load, pixel art of a building rather than specular maps for every window on its model... Pokémon has downsized but not in ways I feel it has benefitted from.

I do not believe Pokémon needs to be this triple A game standing shoulder to shoulder with games like Xenoblade and Zelda, I don't even think it needs to be a game that uses 3D models. I truly believe Pokémon is at its best when it is lightweight.

A lot of effort gets put into Ace Attorney in certain ways, but in other ways it also feels very much discarded. Can't quite figure out what Capcom feels about this series.
