the bunny ones feel odd because i personally dont think sniper would call him that, i dont feel like people really.. speak like that.. skipper feels more natural and frendlier, but also weirdly condescending like a grown man calling another grown man "buddy"

I think the nicknames are so swell. Skippy rolls off the tongue perfectly, fits him so well, AND starts with a "Sc" sound, just like Scout :3

DUDE GET OUT Fellow Travelers is my fav book and I've ALLLLWAYS equated Scout to Tim (I think Scout would have died from AIDs n whatnot), and Hawkins to Sniper. Gahhhhhh gahhh 🥹♥️
